CHAPTER V: THE SAGA TAKES OFF RUNNING (or driving)

"Got any fave haunts, cutestuff?"

"Yeh, anywhere with you," I thought but didn't say and instead I said for the first time but hardly the last...

"No. Anywhere you wanna go is fine with me,"
and so we headed out to a quiet little out of the way restaurant/ice cream shop in a town just south of Kalamazoo. There we sat, eating a burger, and shakes...and loving it. Even better, after I got into my side of the booth he quickly moved in behind me, and when the server person got to our table to take our order, I caught the look of surprise on his teenage boy face (never seen anyone do that before more than likely) and almost laughed out loud. The VERY FIRST TIME he proved to me he loved me without reservation and F...everyone else and their phobias. GO JOEY.

We spent over four hours sitting next to each other, his right leg pressed against my left, his right hand over my left one, and with periodic nibbles about the neck and cheek. He smelled so good, felt so good, tasted flat out hallelujah good, and I kinda got lost in the experience much of the time. Finally, the restaurant closed and OOPS!  We were out of a place. But not to worry, I had one and so we headed up north to my parents house...and the first of many nights together. It all felt SO good, but was it gonna last.

We shall see, but sometimes the old cliche of the course of love seldom runs smooth is oh too true, sad to say. But I intended to stay with Joey and belong to him for as long as he would let me. WHICH I PRAYED TO GOD would be forever, but we shall see. We shall see.
